- Solving the Variant Facility Location Problem by Genetic Algorithm
This research presents a variant facility location problem in which all the customers are facility candidates simultaneously. We consider that travel cost between any two nodes is different because of different transportation mode, labor fee, tax rate, and so on. In addition, the inventory and handling costs are various by region as well. The objective of this problem is to figure out p warehouses that minimize the total logistics cost. The Genetic Algorithm is recruited to solve this problem in this research. A set of instances has been created for solution performance verification. The output results show that the solving process can yield conspicuous solutions. The parameter analysis of the method is provided as well.

- Pickup and Delivery Problem with Transfers(Transshipment)
The transfers mean that some demands can be transferred from one vehicle to another one, which gives a chance to find better solutions.
